Sangan Steel Mineral Industries Company, located in the east of Khorasan Razavi province, is situated 18 km northeast of Sangan city. The purpose of this project is to transfer the treated wastewater extracted from the Karrat Plain in Taybad to the site of Sangan Steel Mineral Industries Company in Khorasan with a capacity of 560 liters per second. Along the underground water transmission pipeline route from the Karrat Plain in Taybad County to the Sangan Steel site, water extracted from wells No. 3, 5, and 6 is collected at the suction reservoir of Pumping Station No. 1 via 300 mm and 250 mm pipelines. Subsequently, the water is pumped (in two stages) from Station 1 through an 800 mm steel pipeline with internal and external coatings, according to technical specifications, towards Pumping Station No. 2. From there, the water is transferred to balancing reservoirs located at the highest point of the route, and then it flows gravitationally towards the plant’s storage reservoirs. The complete implementation of the water supply project for Sangan Steel Mineral Industries Company from the underground water resources of the Karrat Plain in Taybad includes all necessary services such as design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, purchase, execution, transportation, installation, testing, commissioning, and full operation of all required sections. This includes a total capacity of approximately 560 liters per second and covers electromechanical installations, electrical and instrumentation equipment, cathodic protection, storage and balancing reservoirs, building units and auxiliary facilities, technical structures, and site landscaping, following the design, construction, and operation methodology.
